About the Wine:
Penfolds Bin 389 is frequently referred to as "Baby Grange," owing in part to its maturation in barrels previously used for Grange. Initially crafted in 1960 by Max Schubert, this wine played a pivotal role in establishing Penfolds' esteemed reputation among red wine enthusiasts by harmonising the structural qualities of Cabernet Sauvignon with the opulence of Shiraz. It presents with a deep, dark red hue and exhibits aromas of rich, fleshy dark fruits, complemented by notes of cola, liquorice, and dark chocolate.
